Last week flew by!

Didn't manage to do much last week... not really sure where the week went!

I did have my Apprentice catch up with Helen, and we even managed a short walk in Manly... not the 10k walk we had planned!

We had a girlies Friday night out... complete with cheesy music and cheap vodka. We pretty much danced our arses off and laughed our heads off!
The boys were out in North Sydney and by the sounds of it, their night involved a lot of beer - Sham fell asleep on the bus and had to be woken up by the driver at the last stop!

Saturday was just spent pottering around the house. We did manage to watch about 10 episodes of The Inbetweeners though which is sooooo funny!

On Sunday, we went to the mall to get bits for next week - including finally getting some gas for our new BBQ!! We were so excited about finally having it ready to use, we made some corn on the cob on it!
We then went to the RSL club for a MASSIVE roast dinner with Mark and Anita! We were soooo full up when we got home, that Sunday evening was a very very lazy evening!

This week is going to be spent planning the party we are having next week for Shams 30th! Will update and tell you all about it next week!

I put that tracker thing on the blog so I could get an idea of who has been on here, but please leave comments so we know you visited!

I will add some pics soon, cos I am aware that this blog is very text heavy!!!

By for now!

A week of football...

Sham started playing footie in a 5 a side league with the husbands and boyfriends (HABs?!) of my friends. By the sounds of it, week 1 was fun, and apparently, its the taking part that counts!!

The other football games have not been as fun this week, with Man U ending Arsenals season last night, Sham has lost sleep this week for no reason! The only compensation has to be how Chelsea were knocked out of the Champions League this morning!

No news on the job front from me... but I am going to have to up the effort next week as Helen, my unemployed friend, has a start day for her new job! This means that I will officially have no one to hang around with...:-(

Man it feels cold!

On the right is a temp thing that shows Sydney v London... but its so weird how cold it feels here right now!

Sydney houses are not built for the cold - we have no double glazing and no central heating! This means that a couple of degrees drop in temperature makes it REALLY cold!

This coupled with the fact that we live by the beach means that Sham and I were both wearing hoodies and socks to watch TV yesterday!

Life is still good here though, even though I still havent got anything to report on the work front... :(

On a seperate note, I know lots of friends from home are reading this blog to keep updated with what we are up to, but guys, please still keep the emails and updates coming from your end cos we would like to know what you are up to too!

Bye for now!
